Welcome to the wonderful world of inner-city artwork!  Although there is nothing new about the painting of murals on building walls, sidewalks, and alley fences alike, they are becoming ever more popular worldwide.  For some artists it is a profession, whereas for others it might be political statements or just plain doodling; make of them what you will.  Also included are some other items of interest found about town, and a few murals are located inside buildings.

ABOUT THE MURALS

I have opted to disassociate the drawings from their surroundings to a great extent, so as to capture just a nice 'picture' with a straight-on view.  To that end, it was necessary to break down some of the longer images into multiple sections; and anything skewed was caused by an inability to access a better vantage point.

Some graphical editing was done so as to minimize or eliminate unwanted distractions such as alley trash, warning signs, bullet holes, and other vandalism.  Some of the nicer graphics have been further touched-up so as to help restore their original beauty.

Images sectioned off in the text, and most items together on a line, are part of a set — that is, the same building, same panel, or same mural.
