It was quite warm; but we persevered.  And the photographs aren't bad for my #6 camera;  I told you they would make the hike look better than it was.

When I drove over there fifty-plus years ago, the dam consisted of just a 3-foot stone wall.  It was much prettier then, with the lake being full most of the time.
