South can ruff three clubs, but he needs yet another trick.  Winning the diamond lead with the king, he advances the ♣K!  That card is covered and ruffed.  Four similar coups follow: ♥K, ♣J, ♥J, ♣9, all covered and ruffed.  Declarer now finesses in spades and draws two more trumps to this position:

The ♠2 is led for a double squeeze, which would not have worked without transferring the heart guard to west and the club guard to east.
