AULD LANG SYNE — A TRUMPET FANTASY J. S. Cox

This work was originally touted as "A Cornet Fantasy", as arranged by Mr. Cox.  There is no MIDI definition specifically for cornet; as I deemed the MIDI offering for muted trumpet unsuitable, the trumpet itself has been substituted as soloist.

The music contains three sections of five bars or longer where the soloist is silent; in those areas, continuity is difficult to maintain unless the soloist is a human.  To that end, the MP3 file includes the treble staff of the piano accompaniment during those normally silent periods.
