Loch Leven Lakes Tahoe National Forest |
June 18, 2016
I had such a good time today. It was somewhat like walking in
Washington State, where everything is wet or moist. The cloud cover
enabled great flower photo-ops as well.
Brewer's Lupine
Pinemat Manzanita
Mountain Pride are the stars of the show today
Pretty face
Déjà vu
Lower Loch Leven Lake
Great swimming when the water is warm enough
Red Mountain Heather
Utah Serviceberry
Lodgepole Pine
Waterleaf Phacelia
Nuttall's Larkspur
These specimens, discovered together near the end of the walk, are new to me:
