A Remarkable Happening at Arrowhead Stadium

Despite my standard policy of restricting web-page content to original material, something occurred in conjunction with a Chiefs-Raiders football game on the above date that was sufficiently moving to be shared.

This was not the first such civilian fly-over in recent times; yet it had particular meaning for this reporter who not only cries during national anthems, but also lost his own life-partner to breast cancer.

The final score:

• Raiders: 7
• Chiefs:   24
• Crowd:   137.5 decibels of noise, the most ever recorded at a football game
• Fliers:    30,000 dollars in cancer-research donations, and deserving of a lot more
• Guinness:  A record number of planes in a fly-over (49)
