Are You Qualified |
The following short quiz consists of four questions, designed to
determine your suitability as a professional in the modern workplace.
The idea is not to scroll past the horizontal bar until you have
answered the current question.
Question #1:
How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?
Answer #1:
Open the refrigerator, put the giraffe in, and close the door.
This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an overly
complicated manner.
Question #2:
How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?
Did you say, "Open the refrigerator, put the elephant in, and close the
door"? Wrong answer.
Answer #2:
Open the refrigerator, remove the giraffe, put the elephant in, and close the door.
This tests your ability to assimilate the repercussions of your previous
actions.
Question #3:
The Lion King is hosting an Animal Conference.
All of the animals attend — except one. Which one?
Answer #3:
The elephant, of course. It is in the refrigerator. You just put it there.
This tests your memory.
Okay. Even if you missed the first three questions, you have one more
chance to show your true abilities.
Question #4:
There is a river that you must cross, but it is inhabited by crocodiles.
You do not have a boat. How do you manage a crossing?
Answer #4:
You just jump into the river and swim across. Have you not been listening? All the crocodiles are at the Animal Conference.
This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.
According to Anderson Consulting Worldwide, approximately 90% of tested
professionals missed all four answers; yet many pre-schoolers gave several
correct answers. Anderson says that this conclusively disproves the theory
that most professionals have the brains of a four-year-old.
