Lunch time at Cronan Ranch
My information was askew. Further research indicates that this homestead was built by a Michael Cronan, who purchased the property from Central Pacific in 1891. This park was created in 2004 from a piece of the adjacent Bacchi Ranch. Perhaps Sue's guide books were published before then.
Michael Landon Jr.'s movie, Love Comes Softly, was released in 2003.
